We utilize the Hill-Rom nurse call and locator system. There is a patient transport team for procedures and discharges. We take a team approach to patient care. New graduates are welcome. This unit receives excellent educational support from Organizational Development. Flexible scheduling is available. 3 Tower This is a 24-bed patient unit. We utilize the Hill-Rom nurse call and locator system. There is a patient transport team for procedures and discharges. Our case mix includes medical/family practice. Family Care Unit-Providence Northeast This unit features 36 beds with all-private rooms. There are two nurses and one PCT working on each hall The unit has an average daily census of 28 patients, and it is mostly full Monday through Friday. This unit utilizes 12-channel telemetry monitors and centrally monitored pulse oximetry. We offer a very broad scope of service, with our most frequent patient population consisting of one-third orthopedic patients, one-third telemetry patients, and the rest general medical and surgical patients. We are seeing a growth in the number of total joint replacements and simple spine surgeries. The award-winning nursing staff includes 2005 Nursing Support Staff of the Year, 2005 Nursing Leader of the Year and Palmetto Gold recipient and nominees. Flexible scheduling is available.
