Successful Breastfeeding
WHERE: Providence Health Education Center
TIME: 6:30 PM
This prenatal breastfeeding class will help you prepare before and after delivery. Breastfeeding difficulties are related to latch and positioning; therefore, over half of the class is devoted to the basics. Heavy emphasis is placed on how to know feedings are going well, and if not, how to get help. In addition, common hospital routines and newborn behaviors are discussed. We will also check out at a variety of different pumps and what they are best used for. Dads are encouraged to attend as well, since they are a great source of support for mom.
